In March/April, the onset of long daylight hours means you can take in snowy vistas while in the summer months be prepared for conditions similar to the UK climate.

Conventional and 4x4 vehicles are easily hired (you’ll need studded tires for the winter/spring months) and allow you the freedom to explore this beautiful area without schedules or deadlines.
