Northern Light Tours (November To February) ? 3 nights

To witness the Northern Lights phenomena is to experience a true natural wonder of brilliance. Magical, mesmerizing and captivating are just some of the sensations experienced when the night sky erupts into a magical waltz of light frequently lasting for many hours at a time.

This regular phenomenon is caused from discharged particles from the sun being drawn to the earth's magnetic poles. Upon entering the earth's atmosphere these clusters burn up to create bright veils and columns of rich green light that illuminate the sky to almost unimaginable beauty.

The 69th & 70th degree latitude offers the most intense sighting in the world. Located directly in this zone the lodge provides centre stage viewing on clear nights for this incredible sight. Viewing season September to April.

Day 1: Arrive Tromsø Airport for transfer to the Lodge by minibus.

Day 2: Snow shoeing exploring the local area ?half day.

Day 3: Dog sledding trip ?all day.

Day 4: Return transfer to Tromsø from the Lodge.
