A glimpse into life in the remote town of Kirkenes

Your fascinating journey commences in Tromsø, with a leisurely voyage North for a chance to see the magical Aurora Borealis.

In Honningsvåg, you can join an excursion to mainland Europe’s most northerly point, North Cape. Sailing on, we head for the sheltered harbour of Kirkenes. Here you can visit the Russian border or enjoy a taste of Sami life, before your overnight stay in a stylish ice room in the Snow Hotel wrapped up warm. As the return journey from Kirkenes hugs the coastline, you will revisit remote settlements enhancing your experience.

Itinerary - B = Breakfast, D = Dinner

Day 1

Fly to Tromsø where you will be transferred to the ship (D).

Day 2

Enjoy the voyage north sailing into Honningsvåg where you can enjoy an optional excursion to E urope’s most northerly point, the North Cape (B, D).

Day 3

Arrive in K irkenes, disembark and transfer to a local hotel. E njoy free time for excursions and transfer to the Snow Hotel (B, D).

Day 4

Transfer from the Snow Hotel to your Kirkenes hotel. You will have time to explore Kirkenes or join an excursion (B).

Day 5

Rejoin the voyage for your southbound journey (B, D).

Day 6 - 7

Arrive in Tromsø late evening and transfer to a centrally located hotel for two nights. You will have the opportunity to join some of our exciting excursions (B, D on Day 6 only).

Day 8

ransfer to the airport for your flight home (B)..
